Holly & Steve

So obviously I love doing hair and make-up for weddings....so it is even more fun when I know the couple getting married. (And this seems to be happening a lot lately!) Holly and I went to high school together and she is a very close childhood friend of Christine's so we got to hang out a lot this past year and I loved getting to spend more time with her. Needless to say, I was so excited when Holly asked me to do hair for her and some of her bridesmaids for her wedding.  They were married on September 18th in Brentwood and it was a hot day but everything was gorgeous.  I have one picture I managed to get my hands on and you can see the rest of their pictures on their photographer's website right here.  (P.S.- their photographer was so nice and their pictures are beautiful so you should really go check them out!)

Everything about this day was perfect and I could not have dreamed of anything better for one of my best friends.  I gush about their wedding and I wasn't even the bride haha! The venue was gorgeous, the flowers were gorgeous and the bride and groom were beaming the whole time.  They are getting published on "Style Me Pretty" so you will see and hear more details soon! For now, here are some more pictures of her hair.  Like I said before, her hair is naturally very curly but we blew it dry and then curled, teased, and tamed it.  She wanted it to look textured and a bit messy but she didn't want it to look like "she was on her way to go hang out at the park." Haha, this is one of the many reasons I love Christine Irish NELSON!!!

"My Best Friend's Wedding"

I had the privilege of doing one of my best friend's and old roommate's hair for her wedding at the end of June.  She has a TON of gorgeous curly locks and we had a lot of fun crafting the perfect updo for her very special day.  Her wedding was beautiful and so was she! Love you Roomie!!! (more up close pictures to come!)

So I finally broke down and entered the blogging world.  I don't really know what I'm doing so everyone stick with me.  I am a hairstylist and makeup artist living in the San Francisco Bay Area.  I love what I do and consider myself very lucky to be happy to get up every morning and go to work at making the world feel beautiful inside and out.  I have started this blog so you all can see my creations.
